Rev. Dr. Solomon Rongpi visited the TamilNad Christian Council and met the General Secretary, Dr. Esther Kathiroli and the Rev. Prakashan, CSI Church leader. He discussed with them about the possibility of having a joint programme on Mission Consultation at Chennai in the month of October. It will be discussed in the TNCC EC meeting and Dr. Esther will let us know soon.
He was also able to meet many pastors, Christian leaders and theological teachers at the Seminar on "Rethinking Episcopacy in the Church of South India" organised by Abundant Life Movement at Vellore. It was a good time meeting Christian leaders from CSI and Lutheran churches. Dr. Rongpi attended not on behalf of NCCI and was not given time to speak or say anything. He went there as an observer and the main purpose of this visit was to meet CSI leaders.
